# avax.issueTx

Send a signed transaction to the network. `encoding` specifies the format of the signed transaction. Can only be `hex` when a value is provided.

This method will use `10` [Compute Units](/nodeapi/about/billing).

## **Parameters**

* `tx` - string - The transaction encoded to encoding.
* `encoding` - string - The encoding format.

## Returns

* `txID` - string - The transaction ID in hex format.
