# platform.validatedBy

Get the Subnet that validates a given blockchain.

This method will use `80` [Compute Units](/nodeapi/about/billing).

## **Parameters**

* `blockchainID` - string - the blockchain’s ID.

## Returns

* `subnetID` - string - the ID of the Subnet that validates the blockchain.
