# GET /address/:address

Get information about an address.

This method will use `10` [Compute Units](/nodeapi/about/billing).

## **Parameters**

**`address`** - required.

Example: `bc1qw2ct3hhavpz2ctg80scfgscu342vxags7cfs09qqk29e7h43ml4s9a3tq2`

## Returns

Returns information about an address.

Available fields: `address`, `chain_stats` and `mempool_stats`.

`{chain,mempool}_stats` each contain an object with `tx_count`, `funded_txo_count`, `funded_txo_sum`, `spent_txo_count` and `spent_txo_sum`.
