# getEpochSchedule

Returns epoch schedule information from this cluster's genesis config.

This method will use `30` [Compute Units](/nodeapi/about/billing).

## **Parameters**

None.

## Returns

`result` An object with the following fields:

* `firstNormalEpoch`. The first normal-length epoch, log2(slotsPerEpoch) - log2(MINIMUM\_SLOTS\_PER\_EPOCH).
* `firstNormalSlot`. The slot number of the first normal slot. MINIMUM\_SLOTS\_PER\_EPOCH \* (2.pow(firstNormalEpoch) - 1).
* `leaderScheduleSlotOffset`. The number of slots before beginning of an epoch to calculate a leader schedule for that epoch.
* `slotsPerEpoch`. The maximum number of slots in each epoch.
* `warmup`. Whether epochs start short and grow.
