# Register a Solana Delegator Wallet

### POST /v1/api/solana/solana/mainnet/wallet

Register the Solana delegator wallet you want to track. This is a **one-time action per wallet** and starts the rewards indexing process, which can take up to 24 hours to complete.

**Note:** it is expected that there are two `/solana` elements in the URL path.

#### Request

#### Request body

| Field | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `wallet_address` | string | The Solana delegator wallet address to track. This is the wallet holding stake authority over your stake accounts. |

There is currently a limit of 3 delegator wallets per `client_id`. If you need more, contact Validation Cloud.

If you try to add a wallet that is already indexed by Validation Cloud, you will get the following response:

"wallet has already been registered: BjoYYxH6C85YhLm3YboRsb9NDs38YrygZbguir8orboF (mainnet)"
```

This means the wallet is already being tracked, so there is no need to register it again. You can proceed directly to [Get Solana Staking Rewards](/staking/solana/solana-staking-reporting-api/get-solana-staking-rewards-json).

**Note:** If the wallet was registered recently, indexing may still be in progress and the rewards response may be empty or incomplete until it finishes.
