Wallet Backend indexes Stellar Pubnet for wallets. One GraphQL query returns what would otherwise take several Horizon and Stellar RPC calls: an account’s transactions, operations and state changes, and all of its balances, including XLM, trustlines, Stellar Asset Contract (SAC) tokens, SEP-41 tokens and liquidity pool shares. Validation Cloud runs the open-source stellar/wallet-backend service.

Endpoint

Each request costs 20 Compute Units, plus 1 compute unit per KB of the response. Select only the fields you need, and pass first or last on every list, to keep responses small.

Send a query

This request returns an account’s address and its first two balances:

Next steps

  • Guide: pagination, time bounds, balances, state changes, errors and persisted queries, with example queries.
  • The query pages in the sidebar: arguments, return fields, and an example query and response for each.
  • Every type and field: the upstream schema reference.
There is no hosted GraphQL playground. To build queries with autocomplete, import the schema file into a GraphQL client such as Postman, Insomnia or Altair, and point it at your endpoint URL.
