Returns transaction base fee per gas and effective priority fee per gas for the requested/supported block range. This method will use 20 Compute Units.

Parameters

  1. blockCount - QUANTITY - hexadecimal number of blocks in the requested range. Between 1 and 1024 blocks can be requested in a single query. It will return less than the requested range if not all blocks are available.
  2. newestBlock - String - hexadecimal block number, or the string "latest", "earliest" or "pending", see the default block parameter.
  3. rewardPercentiles - Array of numbers - A list of percentile values from 0 to 100, in increasing order, fractional values allowed,, showing how much people are willing to pay to have their transactions processed quickly. These values are based on:
    1. Looking at each block in the time period you’re interested in
    2. Ranking the transactions by how much extra tip they offered per unit of gas
    3. Calculating the typical tip amount for different levels (percentiles)
    4. Taking into account how much gas each transaction used
This helps you understand what people are typically paying to get their transactions processed at different speed levels.

Returns

Object - oldestBlock (the first block of the range), baseFeePerGas (one entry per block plus one for the next block), gasUsedRatio (one per block), reward (one array per block holding the effective priority fee at each requested percentile), baseFeePerBlobGas (one entry per block plus one for the next block) and blobGasUsedRatio (one per block).
